Personal Freedom
Posted in English, The Giver on May 24, 2010 by ringersIn English recently we have been talking about personal freedom and why is it really important to you. In Jonas’s community they have no personal freedom because they are assigned their role in the community for the rest of their lives and they are assigned a partner for the rest of their lives. I would love to choose my job one of my passions is cooking I love it because i can express myself, change things around, and it feels great to see the smiles and praise on the dish I just cooked for them. If you don’t like your job you have to deal with it and then you get no say in wether you change you cant, waking up in the morning and doing the same thing day upon day, month upon month, year upon year then you feel mentally tired, bored and fed up. Also choosing your own partner is crucial because you all have different personality’s and your partner might have some the same so they could help you through those hard times and other different times. If you have been chosen to get a really ugly girl she might be really horrible as well as the ugliness so you would want a fit (hot) girl
not just because of her looks also because she can relate more of you, care for you more and help you. If your parents give their advice you only have to listen you don’t have to what they say, you do on certain things but a decision like marriage that is your own personal choice. Our personal freedom is crucial and without we would be in the same cardboard box for our whole live and we would never escape and live in a free society.
